Geeky Husband (getting used to not working) and I listened to a really interesting talk today on freewill. It'd be great if it wasn't actually my decision to be the most annoying parent in the school at the moment. It's beyond my control. ;-)

Two Good Things On A Sunday Morning

Excuse my shaky morning, no glasses, camera-isn't-working phone pic, but this is what I found when I got up this morning. L12 is dj-ing for his sister as she reads.

After that there was a spot of luging down the stairs. They appear to have a strict health and safety code though.

Not Quite Finished, But Will Share

I won't list all the bits I need to fix, but trust me, I see them. (I'm learning the process is ok and you don't have to hide until the end.) Nah, the camera isn't fixed, so this is a phone pic of today's work. Sometimes a small community can be a bit. . . small. Geeky painty girl strikes back (quietly, without anyone noticing).

Annoyingly

my camera has broken, just when I vow to blog more pictures. I'm hoping it's just the battery. Otherwise it really will be the end.

but doesn't have a lot to say. When Geeky Husband wasn't working I fell in love with these bare red branches, and swore when he got a job I'd have one. Just two left, this little Acer Senkaki is mine. Isn't he beautiful, even naked?

Also this. I fully admit that too many Friday bubbles might have influenced this sentence, but this was pretty much the funniest thing I ever read.

What's Been Going On?

Well, at least one of the grandchildren has been listening to Bunce. . . 

There's been quilting

  and painting with the girls.

Series of Alice White black and whites, but I don't like the middle one (and did it too big - doh!) so I'm gonna redo it if I can make time.
