by P10.
I haven't got anything smart to say. Just a picture (or a few) a day to help us remember these busy growing years.

Ha Ha
Told P10 (dressed quite standardly at the time) to go get a jacket as we were going out, so she came down wearing boots, pink animal print shorts and cat ears.

I Can't Really Title This Post Without Swearing.
I told my daughter yesterday morning that it was a momentous day because the US was going to elect a woman to be president, and this had never happened before. Her reply was a quizzical "Why on earth not?".
I'm not sure if that shows I've done any kind of a reasonable job bringing her up to live in a world that could choose as it did yesterday as the horror show played out.
We chose not to watch in the end. I couldn't bear it. We went for a walk and she made friendship bracelets.

End Of The Year Begins
All the usual term four rituals - L13 always wants wounds for halloween :) We only had a very short time to sort it after school, but he was happy with the results and looked sufficiently ghastly.
It was irritatingly rainy, but these pics were taken after roaming the streets for two hours, so it held up pretty well.
It's also the time of year to return last year's school cups.
You make us so proud L13.

This Happened!
Two paintings accepted for exhibition. It was scary. Free wine helped ;-) Thanks lovely family for being brave with me.

Labour Weekend
was all about gardening. Not just for the adults either.
L&P both got particularly obsessed with all things green and growing.

That is, when they weren't under here. Bunce will be pleased to spy what is going on by the tell tale laser peeping out there. . .

First Poppies
These things are just astounding. Scatter seeds the size of a speck of pepper, and a few months later this appears. We just missed the second one opening, but saw how quick it was. Just a matter of minutes from pod to flower.

Terrible Photos
are because I have lost the memory card for the camera. Phone pics on lousy phone better than nothing though eh?
Yesterday, I made a garden.
L13 went to osteo and learnt about posture to fix his neck. No:
Yes:
And Matt ate Bertie Bott's every flavour jelllybeans and got canned dog food flavour. Or maybe vomit flavour.

Still friends after four years of living in different countries.

Is It Holidays Already!?!
Whoop - soccer prizegiving last weekend and L13 won most improved player. Well done lovely boy! It was a hard year, and asthma really made you work hard, but you never let your team down, and you always made us proud by doing your best.
P10 and I were also impressive (no matter how much I vowed I would never do it!) and MarieKon-ed the heck out of our drawers. Yeah, it's still just tidying, and she's still mad as a hatter, but oh my, I admit this is kinda cathartic.

MOTAT
Cajoled the little ones out, but failed to take a single picture of my family that looked any better than this.
Also that pink one. I only took this to show her that she too can rock pink hair.
Much more successful pics of inanimate objects. Mercury Arc rectifiers. Hmm. Yeah baby.
I knew they'd look all funky, punky and steamilicious with all the reflections and colours.
Da Vinci exhibit. So pretty.
