Anniversary

15 years ago today we got married. We didn't celebrate today, because I had to go to a rehearsal this evening, but when I got home Geeky Husband opened the door and said "Now I see you, I have a strong urge for cheese." It's taken me 15 years, but I have finally created the perfect Pavlovian response in a boy.

Too old to be capable of taking a good selfie though.

Piwakawaka

A number of times over the last week we have had a visiting piwakawaka (fantail) at our lounge window. The first time it happened we thought he was flying into the window and going to get hurt, but it turns out he just wants to snack on the spiders and bugs that accumulate there. (I do get rid of them, but it gets out of control quickly, esp. cos I'm scared of spiders.)  Now he appears on an almost daily basis. It's soooo darling. A pet fantail who does housework - perfect.

Seems I can be relied upon for precisely two blog posts a year. . . .
